Martock Local History Group: The rich Mesolithic, Iron Age and Roman finds in an ongoing dig in Bower Hinton

Greg Wales will exhibit and discuss an impressive array of finds from Bower Hinton. The finds range from the Mesolithic period through to the Georgian period, but those from the Iron Age and Roman times dominate. This will be the first of two presentations, the second one concentrating on the results of extensive archaeological surveys that have been triggered by these finds.
