Clubs, Hobbies & Crafts
Martock offers a wide range of hobbies and craft clubs. There are a number of very popular groups from quilting, to weekly bingo and monthly whist sessions at the Parish Hall. There is also the very active Gardening Group, a History Society, not forgetting the various exercise groups with regular weekly classes.

We run together on a Monday evening and regularly run a beginners programme please ring for more details

Guardians of Martock Church
The Guardians charity was formed to provide funds for the restoration of the fabric of All Saints’ Church Martock. Regular concerts are held in the church and tickets are available from Martock News and Martock Gallery.

The Mothers’ Union is a worldwide organisation committed to preserving family life and marriage. Martock and Ash Mothers’ Union meet on the first Tuesday of each month at All Saints’ Church at 2:00 pm.

Fun, Friends, Interests – if you live in or near Martock and would like to enjoy new hobbies and interests and meet new people come and join us.
Martock & District U3A is open to all who are no longer in full-time employment. It is the time to make the most of life, giving you the chance to enjoy new hobbies and interests and make new friends.
We have monthly meetings every 2nd Wednesday of each month with interesting speakers, local topic and socials and over 30 interest groups meeting each month, with new groups starting regularly.

Martock Friends Active Living Group
Martock Friends Active Living Group meet every Thursday in the community room at Bearley House, East Street.
The group caters for Martocks senior residents and offers Lots of chat, activities, as well as outings and talks. Never a dull moment!
The weekly sessions run from 10am to 3pm and includes lunch and refreshments during the day. If you or someone you know are at a loose end on a Thursday and fancy a sociable day out why not come and visit…

Martock Local History Society
Between September and April we have talks at Martock Primary School on mainly local topics. Usually on the 4th Tuesday of the month, unless half term at the school. In May, June and July we have outdoor visits. No Meeting December or August. Annual membership is £10 for all 10 meetings, or £3 per meeting. Everyone very welcome.

Stepping Stones Bereavement Support Group

Martock Wednesday Club
A warm welcome is offered every Wednesday at Martock Youth Centre for this social and inclusive group. It is open for all over the age of 18. Current time is 2pm to 3:30pm, but changing to 10:30 to 12:30.
There is the opportunity to play pool and join in the activities, (be it arts and crafts, gardening, relaxation session, board games etc) or just enjoy a cuppa, biscuit and chat. All new ideas welcome.
Come and be part of this supportive and welcoming group. It is a space to be yourself without fear of judgement.
50p a session with free tea/coffee and biscuits. Come along and make this group your own.
