The Gardens of Yeovil, an illustrated talk by Yeovil’s Heritage Co-ordinator Joseph Lewis, who looks behind the history and personalities of three Yeovil gardens: Ninesprings built as a pleasure garden for the Batten banking family; Sidney Gardens given by Mayor Sidney Watts with ‘Farley’s Fountain’, and Bide’s Garden given by the Dampier-Bide family around the site of Yeovil Hospital.
We will also hold our AGM after this talk.

We serve tea and coffee from 7pm and the talks start at 7.30pm.

Everyone is welcome to attend any or all of these meetings. Annual membership is only £10 per person. Alternatively visitors or guests pay a fee of £2 per meeting which includes tea or coffee.
