Martock Carers Group is an offer from Somerset Carers Service and Martock and South Petherton Surgery working together. A free, informal gathering for people who regularly look after someone, maybe a friend, family member or loved one, in an unpaid capacity. We meet to socialise, share stories and ideas and to talk about our experiences. Professional speakers and service providers also visit to offer support and information.
Bring the person you care for so you can both have an enjoyable afternoon as we also have an instructor in the adjoining room to encourage gentle activities such as boccia and supported conversation.
Martock Group meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 10:30am at the Rose and Crown East Lambrook
