Martock and District Gardening Society – November meeting

“From Seeds to Sales- Growing flowers for floristry” A Talk by Deborah Harris which covers the development of a small scale flower farm from scratch: the planting year and what to grow for succession; floristry skills with a demonstration of creating a hand-tied bouquet (which will be raffled) and ways of marketing and selling flowers.

Some plants/greetings cards and paintings of flowers will also be on sale.

Tea and coffee available from 7pm. Talk starts at 7.30pm. New members, guests and visitors are all welcome. Annual membership is only £10. £2 fee for guests and visitors includes tea or coffee.
